Actor Kangana Ranaut is riding high on the success of her latest released film, Emergency. She has now begun filing for her next with Tanu Weds Manu co-star R Madhavan. Reportedly, the film is a psychological thriller.

Kangana Ranaut kickstarts shooting for her thriller project with R Madhavan

BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut took to Instagram and shared a picture of the clipboard as she began the shoot of her thriller project with R Madhavan. The announcement comes days after the release of Kangana’s Emergency, in which she essayed the role of former prime minister Indira Gandhi. The caption of the post reads, “Nothing is more delightful than being on a film set”

The upcoming movie will be directed by Vijay and produced by R Ravindran of Trident Arts. Earlier in 2023, Kangana on X shared a picture and wrote, “Today in Chennai we started filming our new film, a psychological thriller. Other details are coming soon. For now, we need all your support and blessings for this very unusual and exciting script.”

This film will mark Kangana and Madhavan’s reunion after Aanand L Rai’s 2011 romantic comedy Tanu Weds Manu. It was followed by a sequel titled Tanu Weds Manu Returns, which was released in 2015.

On the work front, Madhavan was lastly seen in the ZEE5 film Hisaab Barabar.
